National Migration Conference Advocacy Day - July 30, 2008

On Wednesday, July 30, 2008, conference participants had an unprecedented opportunity to get up close and personal with U.S. senators and representatives from their home state. The day included a presentation by U.S. Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) and a visit to the U.S. Capitol, where attendees scheduled meetings with legislators and their staff to talk about the work thy do and to be an advocate for the many who do not have a voice.
